NEW The very best chuck available for the Craftsman 109s This is Bison's three jaw mini scroll chuck, especially for the 109 type spindles, either 1/2" x 20tpi or 3/4" x 16tpi. Model number 7-810-0222, the chuck is 2.36" diameter, 1.1" thick, and weighs only 1.2 pounds. The clamping range is 0.02" to 2.36". It comes with one set of hard solid reversable jaws and a chuck wrench. A set of soft solid jaws is available as an optional accessory for $38. I just received several, and the MSRP has been raised. I'll stick with the lower price as long as I can. You will find no lower sales price, but if you do, I will match it. Please email me with any questions you may have on this chuck. NOTE: Bison raised the prices on these chucks a couple of months ago. I held my price for as long as I could, using stock on hand. NEW CRAFTSMAN 1/2" x 20 tpi Thread with 1/2" Capacity This is a brand new, genuine Craftsman chuck, made by Jacobs. It can be used either on the headstock spindle or on the tailstock. No key is included, but it uses standard KK series key. I have been fortunate to acquire several cases of these chucks. See next photo. |

Test Rod NEW How often do you need a known test piece to check your set-up? Find one, and its too costly for your home shop. Must be some gold alloy. Here is an inexpensive solution for checking spindle, self-centering chuck, and many other quick tests. This precision ground steel dowel is accurate to 0.0002". Dimensions 1/2" diameter x 2" long. The only problem is that the suppliers have minimum quantities and sell by box only. So, I bought a box of 100, and you can buy just one. $2.00 plus shipping. |

MILLING ATTACHMENT. Condition: USED-Excellent Condition . LIMITED QUANTITIES. This is an original Atlas milling attachment for the 6" lathe. It requires a slight modification to mount directly on the Craftsman 109.21270 compound swivel base. The 109.21270 has a 1-1/2" mounting post, where the Atlas has a 1-1/4" post. The milling attachment requires the mounting hole be bored to increase the diameter by 1/4". The attachment will also work very nicely on the 109.20630 with the modification mentioned plus changing the swivel base to one from a 21270. You can view a picture of a mounted attachment on my 109.20630 under the Hints & Tips section discussion of Speed Control. A stamped micrometer collar is provided for the Z-axis movement, 100 increments per revolution. Protractor stamped 90 - 0 - 90 for rotation of the vise, which has maximum opening of 2". Vertical travel is approximately 2". Traverse movement is provided by the cross carriage, and the attachment rotates 360 degrees on the swivel mount. End mill holders, fly cutters and slitting saw holders are available in 1/2" x 20 tpi and 3/4" x 16 tpi for mount on headstock spindle. Price is $225.00 plus shipping. |

NEW Tool Post Handle I can never find the right Allen wrench when I need it, and as soon as I saw one of these handles I wanted one. They didn't make one the right size, so we did. You can lift the handle to disengage spline while tapped insert remans stationary and rotate handle to desired position. On releasing handle, the compression spring returns lever to reengage spline for tightening or loosening. It is instantly adjustable to 20 positions, so you can always reposition the handle out of the way after tightening. Zinc handle with carbon steel mechanism. Price $12.00 plus shipping. |
